econ review question 13

In 1800, about 98% of the population worked in agriculture. Most of the average household's income went to providing basic needs such as food, clothing, and shelter.

Today, about 2% of the population works in agriculture. The average household now only spends a fraction of their income on basic needs.

Use marginal products of capital and labor to explain the difference.
